UNCG Animation Winter 2026 Showcase
December 3 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Join us on December 3 for UNCG Animation Winter 2026 Showcase, a special screening celebrating the work of UNCG Animation students as they bring two original animated shorts to the screen. Developed through student-led production teams, the evening showcases the creativity, collaboration, and production work behind a full animated film pipeline.
This year’s premiere features two student studios:
Studio DawgHaus presents Beast Friends Forever
A lonely girl new to a coastal town stumbled upon the city’s local folklore monster. After quickly befriending her, she must come to terms with the fact that her new and only friend must disappear at sunrise.
Sinister Seven Studios presents Dungeons & Dirtbags
Four college-age friends sit down for a tense session of Dungeons & Dragons, seemingly more interested in pushing one another’s buttons than playing together. As the session unfolds, they begin to remember what brought them to the table in the first place and discover that their friendship may still be worth fighting for.
UNCG Animation Winter 2026 Showcase celebrates emerging animators, student collaboration, and the culmination of months of storytelling, design, animation, and production.
